Role Overview

We’re looking for a talented PHP Laravel Developer to build, maintain, and enhance our web applications. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver performant, reliable solutions that scale.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and optimize PHP applications using the Laravel framework
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-tested code
• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and architectural challenges
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members
• Collaborate on feature scoping, technical design, and roadmap planning
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• 3+ years professional experience with PHP & Laravel
• Strong object-oriented programming skills & knowledge of design patterns
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with SQL (MySQL/MariaDB) and NoSQL databases
• Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Version control expertise (Git/GitLab)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Redis and AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda)
• Familiarity with AWS Cognito or similar auth providers
• DevOps/CI-CD experience
• Agile tooling (Jira)

Education

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
