About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior React + Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and designing scalable APIs primarily written in Node.js and hosted in AWS. You will also collaborate on creating testing strategies and participating in system design discussions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize APIs using Node.js.

• Participate in system design discussions to create software solutions people love to use every day.

• Drive the selection and use of backend, data, and cloud platform technologies.

• Collaborate with the team to deliver software in an agile environment.

• Create and implement testing strategies at all levels of architecture.

• Option to grow into a full-stack role by learning React or full-cycle development by mastering Kubernetes and Terraform.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of relevant work experience in creating web services at scale.

• 5+ years of experience with React and Node.js.

• Expertise in relational databases and managing schema migrations.

• Significant experience with AWS or other cloud technologies.

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React and Redux.

• Strong problem-solving skills and natural curiosity about how things work.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Ability to write comprehensive test suites at all levels of architecture.
