Senior Data Scientist
we are revolutionizing the way we deliver solutions to our customers by leveraging advanced AI technologies. We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team and drive impactful decisions through innovative data analysis and algorithm development.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze retail data to derive insights and inform pricing strategies.
- Develop and prototype algorithms for pricing and demand prediction.
- Test and monitor algorithm performance, iterating as necessary.
- Engage in product development, including discovery calls with end users and collaboration with UX/UI teams.
- Communicate developed algorithms effectively to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team (Software Engineer, Product Manager, Data Scientist) in an agile environment.
- Work with the Product Manager to ensure the pricing solution aligns with SMB sellers' needs and the overall product vision.
- Take ownership of features or components within the pricing solution, from conception to deployment.
- Stay updated on pricing optimization, data science best practices, and relevant domains to enhance product competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with at least one of the following:
- Bayesian Models and Probabilistic Programming (e.g., PyMC, Stan, TensorFlow Probability).
- Reinforcement Learning (RL) Models.
- Causal Models and causal inference frameworks. - Minimum 5 years of experience in data science or related field.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
- Strong Python skills, capable of writing modular and readable code for experiments and prototypes.
- Solid mathematical background, preferably in a Computer Science-related field.
- Proficiency in scientific Python toolkit including NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, and either Keras/TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with Time Series Forecasting approaches.
- Experience in statistical testing methodologies, including A/B testing.
- Experience working with tabular and mixed (multimodal) data (e.g., tabular data combined with text, audio, or images) for at least 3 years.
- English - upper-intermediate +.
