Full-time Software Engineer role in NYC focusing on back-end development and scalable solutions. You'll design and maintain systems that power our innovative marketplace platform with a real chance to grow into a management role.

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a strong background in back-end web development to join our innovative team. This individual will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining the software systems that power our creator marketplace. We are seeking a collaborative problem-solver who is passionate about building scalable solutions and contributing to the evolution of our platform.

What will you be doing?

• Designing, developing, and maintaining robust software systems.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate technology solutions seamlessly.

• Focusing on back-end web development, including programming and debugging.

• Implementing scalable solutions to enhance our marketplace platform.

• Contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Work experience

• 2 years of experience primarily in back-​end software engineering.​
• Experience in primarily backend software engineering with indicator of high intelligence,​ whether from school,​ experience,​ or side projects
• Signal of relevant experience (at any marketplace company) or high-​caliber experience (high-​growth startups,​ big tech).​ If no startup experience,​ candidate must have side projects.​
• Past founder or founding engineer able to clearly articulate why business failed if applicable
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field at a top school.​
• Familiarity with AI tools;​ most of their code should be written with AI
• Proficiency in Postgres (database migration project is a focus for next few months)
• Must be located and willing to come in-​office 5 days/wk in the NYC Metropolitan Area.​
