  Role Overview

  We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to drive quality across complex, cloud-based systems.

  This role requires hands-on experience in test automation, framework design, cloud environments (AWS), and QA team leadership. You will play a key role in defining QA strategy, ensuring product reliability, and scaling quality processes across the organization.

  Key Responsibilities

  Test Design & Execution

• Design, write, review, and maintain manual and automated test cases

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

• Develop BDD-based test scenarios

• Create data-driven and keyword-driven testing approaches

• Validate backend systems using SQL queries and data verification

• Ensure seamless integration with tools like Jira / AIO Test Management

  Automation & Framework Development

• Design and maintain scalable, reusable automation frameworks

• Implement UI automation using Playwright (MANDATORY)

• Develop API automation using Postman, REST Assured, or Karate

• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Write clean, maintainable code in Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript

• Test modern frontend applications (React, Jest, React Testing Library)

• Validate .NET Core applications

  QA Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and mentor QA engineers in Agile/Scrum environments

• Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams

• Drive quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement

• Identify risks early and proactively ensure resolution

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels

  AWS & Environment Management (MANDATORY)

• Manage and maintain QA environments in AWS

• Work with AWS services:

  • Lambda

  • S3

  • CloudWatch

  • ECS

  • X-Ray

• Test microservices-based architectures in cloud-native environments

• Apply distributed systems testing strategies

• Perform performance testing in cloud environments

  Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright

• Deep understanding of test automation frameworks and architecture

• Experience with API testing and CI/CD integrations

• Strong SQL and backend validation skills

• Proven experience working with AWS environments

• Solid programming skills in at least one modern language

• Experience testing modern web applications (React preferred)

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience with GenAI tools / autonomous agents for testing

• Knowledge of test reporting dashboards and QA KPIs

• ISTQB or equivalent certification
