Senior Product Engineer (Berlin)
Kombo is the leading global unified API for HR, LMS, Screening, ATS, and Payroll integrations. Instead of having to build and maintain many APIs themselves, Kombo's customers can integrate with Kombo's API once and offer 200+ APIs to their customers out-of-the-box.
What we're looking for?
Senior Product Engineer with 3–8+ years of experience at a high-growth startup, comfortable owning product end to end, partnering with customers, and shipping impactful features. API or integration experience is a bonus.
Work experience
- 3 - 8 years of experience engineering for B2B software applications.
- Experience at a high-growth VC-backed startup (Seed to Series C).
- Experience building API or integration-focused products.
- Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Located in or able to relocate to Berlin.
- Excited about working 5 days a week in-office.
- Experience with React is a plus.
What you'll do:
- Architect and build features for our rapidly growing customer base, spending approximately 75-80% of your time coding.
- Take ownership of complex initiatives, managing them from conception to deployment over 6-8 week cycles.
- Work closely with product managers and customers to explore how to make the product better and solve real-world problems.
- Build and iterate on core product functionalities, such as our filtering layer or extending our infrastructure to handle millions of webhooks.
- Contribute to a high-performance engineering culture that values speed, quality, and autonomy.
- Ship your first PR on day one and contribute to a codebase with over 20 releases per day
