Product Designer
We are a healthcare store that makes it delightfully simple to shop for any type of care. We provide upfront cash and insurance prices for virtual and in-person visits, prescriptions, labs, imaging, and more.
We’re looking for a hands-on Product Designer to help shape the end-to-end patient experience — from the moment someone arrives with an intent (“I need care”) through booking, care delivery, and follow-through (labs, prescriptions, referrals, and next steps). This is a role for someone who wants real ownership, sweats the details, and is excited to design in the messy realities of American healthcare.
You’ll work closely with a Product Design Lead and partner directly with engineering and clinical/ops stakeholders. We’re a small team, so you’ll have a big surface area and meaningful autonomy. Design here isn’t just decoration — it’s a lever for product strategy, conversion, trust, and care outcomes.
Some interesting problems you’ll get a chance to work on:
-
Design the “front door” to care: how customers shop for and understand options across visits, prescriptions, labs, imaging, and referrals
-
Reimagine the booking experience end-to-end: signup, questionnaires, insurance lookup + capture (including manual entry and photo capture), appointment selection, and payment
-
Overhaul the patient account/dashboard experience, including care history, upcoming steps, and ongoing management of care
-
Create a system for clear, timely communication: SMS/email reminders, visit logistics, and next-step guidance that reduces drop-off and confusion
-
Design the care plan and follow-through experience after a visit: visit summaries, diagnoses, orders, and action flows for prescriptions, labs, referrals, and follow-ups
-
Ship a steady stream of “feature V2s” that materially improve conversion and outcomes (insurance onboarding, checkout, lab results, notifications, etc.) while maintaining a high bar for craft
-
Contribute to internal clinical/ops tooling as needed when it unlocks better care delivery or fixes critical workflow bottlenecks
Requirements
- 2 - 6 years of experience as a product designer working on modern user interfaces
- End-to-end design capability from idea and architecture decisions through delivering polished mocks
- Consumer focused product/service experience is required
Nice to have
Work on healthtech/care or e-commerce platforms
Why you should join
-
Transforming an outdated industry and driving better health outcomes
-
Working side-by-side with the former founders of PillPack (excited to Amazon in a $1bn deal)
-
Recently closed $32m Series A and rapidly scaling at this inflection point
-
Hybrid model and a collaborative work environment
