Position: Fullstack Software Engineer
Location: On-site, Tiburon/San Francisco, CA
Salary: $150K–$250K + Equity

Role Summary:
Thrv is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to design, build, and maintain AI-powered, data-driven product features using a modern TypeScript/Next.js stack. The engineer will work closely with the CEO and Technical Managing Director on high-impact, enterprise-focused software.

Requirements:

Seniority:

• 2+ years fullstack experience in production with TypeScript, React, Next.js (App Router, RSC, Server Actions/Route Handlers)

Technical Expertise:

• Hands-on experience building LLM/AI apps (Vercel AI SDK or equivalent)
• Postgres + SQL production experience; familiarity with ORMs (Drizzle preferred)
• Client-side data & caching experience (TanStack Query, SWR, or similar)
• Focus on performance & reliability (streaming UIs, caching, error boundaries, logging/instrumentation, Core Web Vitals)
• Accessibility-minded UI work (Tailwind, component libraries)
• Comfortable integrating third-party APIs, webhooks, background jobs/queues

Education:

• Bachelor’s in CS, Physics, Economics, or equivalent practical experience

Soft Skills:

• Learning mindset; adapts to fast-changing tech
• Business-oriented thinking (revenue impact awareness)
• Strong collaboration skills with product/design teams
