Tech Stack: High-load systems, MySQL (RDS), Kafka, Debezium, AWS Glue, S3, Terraform/CDK, Git, SQL, Bash/Python

Role Overview:

• Manage and fine-tune Amazon RDS MySQL to support high write-intensive operations (up to 50,000 QPS)
• Set up and maintain real-time data capture using Debezium and Kafka
• Implement and optimize strategies for replication, sharding, indexing, and partitioning
• Analyze and enhance SQL query performance and execution plans
• Ensure high system availability, robust backup mechanisms, and disaster recovery readiness
• Connect and integrate datasets with analytics tools like ClickHouse and Snowflake
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK) for deployment and automation
• Handle schema versioning and deployment through Git and CI/CD workflows

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid hands-on experience managing MySQL RDS under demanding workloads
• Strong knowledge of binary log replication and CDC mechanisms (Debezium)
• Expertise in query performance tuning, indexing strategies, and slow query analysis
• Comfortable with scripting in Bash or Python
• Familiar with Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices
• Clear understanding of data pipelines to ClickHouse and Snowflake

Bonus Points For:

• Background working with AWS Glue or Apache Airflow for orchestrating data pipelines
• Practical knowledge of ClickHouse ingestion best practices
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and CloudWatch
